How To Play
The Buddymatch aims to foster engaging conversations and connections among players by exploring topics that start with randomly drawn letters of the alphabet. The goal is to discover common interests and insights through shared experiences.
Rules:
1. Shared Card Set
All players share a single set of cards, each with a letter of the alphabet on it. These cards will be used collectively to determine the topics of conversation.
2. Turn Rotation
Players take turns drawing a card from the shared set. The chosen letter becomes the topic for the current turn.
3. Topic Exploration
The player who drew the card starts by sharing interests, values, preferences, favorite things, or any relevant information that starts with the chosen letter. Other players can also contribute if they share similar interests or have something to add.
4. Interactive Conversation
All players engage in a conversation about the chosen letter, primarily focusing on the player who drew the card. However, if other players have similar interests or experiences, they are encouraged to contribute to the discussion.
5. Listening and Learning
As the conversation progresses, each player actively listens to others' responses. They can note down interesting points or things they want to remember on a sheet for note-taking.
6. Player Reflection
Players can review their notes and reflect on what they learned about each other after the game. This helps deepen their understanding of one another in a fun and interactive way.
